It all started out as a stupid prank. Ended up as so much more.
Draco Malfoy is a boy with everything; money, good looks, and the ability to make any girl weak in the knees with nothing but a husky whisper in their ear. Not only does he have the looks, but he’s got this high class elegance about him that makes any girl swoon at the mere sight of him. The information is nothing new to Malfoy, or to the female population at Hogwarts. Unafraid to pull out all the stoppers and call a few favors to get his way, the word "no" isn't something he hears too often, and he doesn’t like it.
Ginevra Weasley is a lovely young girl, independent by all means, determined to get what she wants; and she has a reputation for being the hardest to get as far as relationships. This isn't only a challenge, but Malfoy knows that Ginevra isn't just the pretty face she seems to be, but he only takes up the chance for the physical attraction he had for her, which is all too obvious. Draco had always been the one to go after girls just for their physical appearance. After numerous failed attempts of using his charm and good looks to get into Ginevra's pants, he starts giving her detentions. He had the power, why not sue it to get what he wants?
Enter Blaise Zabini, best friend to Draco Malfoy since they were at the very young age of three. The second Draco tells him about his plan to 'ruin' Ginevra's life, a strange feeling welled up in the pit of his stomach, it wasn't hate or fear or anything of the sort. In all honesty, it was jealousy. He does everything he can to try to stop Draco from doing this, while not trying to be obvious. After all of Blaise's attempts fail, Draco does go on with his plan. Draco starts giving Ginevra many detentions, the first one was for looking at him the wrong way.
Eventually, Draco starts giving Ginny detentions just to see her more, and Ginny keeps going without a fight. They fall for each other, they have nothing in common. Nothing, but they were crazy about each other. It was all in secrecy, but Blaise knew everything. Why he had gone all soft for the girl, he had no clue, but he didn't want to see her get hurt. So he tells her that Draco had led Ginny on just to get in her pants. That everything Draco has said, had been a lie. She falls apart, she had really fallen for this boy. Blaise was there to comfort her, ending up doing more than just that. Draco had walked in on that second, seeing almost everything. Ginny stops talking to both of them and runs to the famous Harry Potter.
Draco sends her owls and gives her detention, nothing seems to work. So he gives up. Or does he? Blaise eventually moved on after that night, he just wanted the one thing that Draco had. But goes he still want her or does he want someone new? Ginny starts dating Harry, but will it last?
